In any work-at-height situation where the worker uses a fall arrest system, there is potential for an accident, or situation that requires a rescue. This module allows practicing rescuing a person on rope, using the JAG RESCUE KIT. The JAG RESCUE KIT is a versatile and effective kit that provides easy evacuation of a worker at height, in a variety of rescue scenarios.

Goal(s) of the training
The training aims to better understand the risks taken by workers at height and to encourage the practice of taking good preventive measures. The main goal is to promote the correct use of Petzl equipment for rescuing rope access workers. Indirectly, this module can help employers fulfill their legal obligations concerning work at height, and reduce accidents.

Targeted skills
When this training is over the student will be able to:
• Name and explain the 5 stages of a rescue at height with the JAG RESCUE KIT.
• Prepare the JAG RESCUE KIT.
• Understand and know how to discuss the risks involved when rescuing a rope access worker.
• Rescue a partner hanging on a fall-arrest system using the JAG RESCUE KIT.
