Climbing a multi-pitch route, projecting a sport climb, exploring alpine terrain, or training indoors… so many adventures rely on confidence, movement, and trust in your equipment. Petzl offers a complete range of sport solutions designed for climbers and mountaineers who demand performance, comfort, and safety. This training puts participants in the climber’s shoes, giving them hands-on experience with Petzl sport products in real climbing situations. Students will discover how the equipment performs on the wall and in the field, allowing them to better understand the needs of climbers and provide more authentic, knowledgeable, and reliable sales advice.

Goal(s) of the training
The goal of the training is to provide the student with a good theoretical and practical understanding of sport climbing
situations. At the end of the training, the student will be able to advise future sales contacts on relevant, sound proposals that are
tailored to the end user’s needs.

Targeted skills
When this training is over the student will be able to:
• Advise potential sales contacts on an equipment solution for sport climbing indoor and/or outdoor, suitable for the use context (selected from the Petzl line).
• Use Petzl.com to find precise and current technical information on a product or system (set of products) and be able to explain
the essential points to a potential buyer or sales contact.
• Adapt their message and Petzl sales offering to the current regulatory context in their sales region.
• Use systems for climbing, while following technical guidelines and safety rules.
